MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at date of closing
• Educational Requirement: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Fire Certification: Accredited NFPA Firefighter I; NWCG Wildland FF Type II (or ability to obtain both, within 1 year)
• EMS Certification: Washington State or NREMT Paramedic (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Medical Examination: Ability to pass a medical exam based on NFPA 1582 Medical Requirements for Firefighters
• Licensure: Possess a valid insurable Washington Drivers License, or ability to obtain; possess a driving record that meets the Benton Fire District 2’s standards.
