First Aid/CPR Training

According to the American Heart Association, cardiopulmonary resuscitation provided immediately after “sudden cardiac arrest” can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival but only 32 percent of cardiac arrest victims get CPR from a bystander.

Program Overview

Our certified CPR instructors are also firefighters. They teach a fun, engaging and interactive class.

We offer three different CPR & first aid classes.

  1. Community "Hands Only CPR" Class 
    • These classes will be held quarterly at Benton County Fire District #2 Station 210. This Class consists of "Hands Only CPR" there will be no cards offered with this class.  You will be taught proper hand placement, depth, and rate for CPR. Ther is no cost for the class. 
  2. AHA Heartsaver CPR, First Aid and AED 
    • In our CPR First Ais AED course you will learn basic first aid, high performance CPR for adult, child and infants, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), how to recognize an emergency, size up an emergency scene and more!
    • These classes will be held quarterly at Benton County Fire District #2 at Station 210.  This class will consist of CPR for adults, child, and infant.  AED for adult, child, and infant.  First Aid for adult, child, and infant.  With this class you will be certified and a card will be given to you as well.  This class will have a minimal fee of $20.00 to cover the cost of the cards and books.
  3. Group Classes
    • We will be able to schedule a group of 8 or more for specific dates if we know ahead of time.  If you have a group that needs CPR whether it be "Hands Only CPR" or AHA Heartsaver we just need at least a month's notice and we can accommodate you.  

Class Cost

  • Hands Only CPR - No Cost
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Training costs $20 per participant.  

 

Payment is due at time of registration. Drop-ins are not accepted on the day of class.

Completion Cards

Our course includes certified completion cards for participants who successfully complete each session. These cards verify that the user has met the performance standards of nationally recognized institutions (AHA- American Heart Association). 

Please note:  If you are taking CPR and/or First Aid to satisfy an employer requirement, please check with them to make sure they accept the American Heart Association (AHA) branded cards. 

Cancellation Policy 

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel an event at any time. Should we cancel an event, you will receive notice of the cancellation and a full refund. 

Cancellations for a full refund can be made up to 24 hours prior to class date/time.  Refunds can take 3-6 weeks to process.
